Description – Chinese Speaking Compliance Officer/Manager


Company Location:

Birmingham, West Midlands.


Hours of Work:

40hours per week, full-time.


Remuneration:

Compliance Officer from £21,500; Compliance Manager from £29,500.

Located in the city centre of Birmingham, we specialise in providing education planning as well as university and college application services for international students with the UK and overseas. The company’s growth means we are looking to recruit Compliance Officer/Manager to support the company’s increasing UK market activities.


The role will mainly be focused on the compliance requirements as set out by the Home Office and UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) applicable to our company of the duties and responsibilities.


Key Job Responsibilities

· Provide excellent communication service to all internal colleagues and external clients.

· Deliver all relevant training (face to face or via remote mechanisms) to company staff regarding changes in regulations and help implement these across the company to all relevant staff.

· Audit company systems to ensure all procedures, processes and information associated with visa compliance are kept accurate and up-to-date.

· Support audits of company (processes, files and record keeping etc.) on a regular basis.

· Compile monthly dashboards of data on visa applications and analyse patterns to highlight all areas of compliance and produce action plan to drive resolution of issues.

· Monitor all Home Office & UKVI and any other relevant sources of information for any announcements or updates to ensure company remains fully compliant.


Essential Requirements:

· Graduated from Top Ranking UK University, First Class is required for Undergraduate level graduated candidates; Distinction is required for Postgraduate level graduated candidates.

· High level of Chinese language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

· Extremely high attention to detail.

· Excellent clear and professional communicator both via email and telephone as well as confident in dealing with all levels of staff in a team environment.

· Ability to absorb and communicate details of regulatory systems in a clear and concise manner.

· Ability to work well under pressure especially during peak times and strong sense of independence and initiative to drive and manage your own time.

· Computer literate via use of Windows based software applications.
