感谢大家对交际型语法教学慕课的关注。慕课已于9月25日开始。为了协助各位老师顺利完成课程，我们将定期邀请美国英语教学人士与大家一起探讨学习心得、答疑解惑。第四次学习交流会将于10月19日13:30-15:00举行。此次交流会将由Vanessa主持。她将与大家一起讨论课程学习中遇到的问题。活动限25人，报完即止。

MOOC Meetup for Teaching Grammar Communicatively
Thecourse has begun Monday, September 25, 2017 and will end Monday,October 30, 2017.And RegionalEnglish Language Office Beijing plans to organize regular meetups to facilitateyour MOOC learning.Our fourth meetup will be on Oct 19th from 13:30-15:00. Vanessa will discusswith you any problems you met during the course.
Course Description
In thispractice-oriented course, participants will explore how to adapt grammarinstruction to meet their students’ needs. They will also focus on integrating grammarinstruction with teaching language skills, varying grammar instruction to meetthe needs of large, mixed ability classes, and using available technologyeffectively to enhance grammar learning inside and outside the classroom.Participants will discuss different challenges their learners may have withlearning grammar, and discover how they can help learners use grammar toimprove fluency and accuracy.
Learning Objectives and LearnerOutcomes
By the endof the course you will be able to…
· understand key issues concerninggrammar acquisition;
· incorporate effective approaches andtechniques of presenting and practicing grammar into your regular teaching;
· plan communicative grammar lessonsfor large, mixed ability classes;
· monitor, evaluate and improve yourgrammar lessons;
· give effective feedback to students;
· use available technology to enhancegrammar learning.
Pre-courseorientation module:
A pre-course orientation module will be availablestarting Monday, September 11, 2017. This short guide will help you getthe most out of the online learning environment by providing an introduction tothe AE E-Teacher program, MOOCs, using the Canvas learning management system,online learning success strategies, and how to find support during the course.We strongly encourage participants to complete this module before beginning thecourse.
