你知道吗？美国和中国最近举行了残障人事务协调会，这个一年一度的会议让我们有机会讨论两国为建设一个对身体或智力残障人士都更加包容的社会正在做哪些事情。美国代表团成员包括来自政府的官员，如国务部副助理部长斯科特·巴斯比、国际障碍者权利特别顾问安·科迪、劳工部的迈克尔·默里以及私营部门的专家、康复专家皮特·托马斯及就业专家拉瑟尔·谢佛。在北京和西安三天的会议期间，代表团会晤了中国政府官员及西安美术学院、陕西省康复医院、鸿鹰影视文化传媒有公司的工作人员，并访问了西安莲湖区残障人士服务中心。代表团非常愉快能有机会与如此多的人见面，并分享让包容融入日常生活的经验。我们期待着明年在美国举办协调会并招待中国代表团！

Did you know? The U.S. and China recently met for the Coordination Meeting on Disability, an annual chance to talk about what our two countries are doing to build a more inclusive society for persons living with physical or intellectual disability.  The U.S. delegation included government officials such as Deputy Assistant Secretary Scott Busby, Special Advisor for International Disability Rights Ann Cody, and Michael Murray from the Department of Labor, as well as experts from the private sector, rehabilitation expert Peter Thomas and employment expert Russell Shaffer.  Over three days of meetings in Beijing and Xi’an, the delegation met with Chinese government officials, the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, the Shaanxi Rehabilitation Hospital, the staff of Hongying Animation Studio, and the Xi’an Lianhui District Persons with Disabilities Service Center. The delegation enjoyed the opportunity to meet with so many people and share experiences on how to make inclusion a part of everyday life.  We look forward to hosting the coordination meeting and Chinese delegation in the United States next year!
