“梦家园”杯丹东港2014-2015中国木结构建筑设计竞赛启动以来，涌现了许多优秀的设计作品与团队，目前大赛已进入决赛阶段。其中，36个参赛作品经过层层选拔，进入到了最后一轮终审环节。加拿大木业将通过微信公众号展示这36个入围作品，发布顺序按照作品编号，不具有先后意义。建筑场地位于辽宁省丹东市大孤山脚下，地处山谷处群山环抱，面朝201国道，交通便利，风景宜人。木结构游客中心背面临山，周边拥有良好的景观视角，木结构建筑与周围的自然景色相互融合，形成整个项目中的亮点。设计从场地出发，为了回应山势，面朝山谷放置了一道弧线，形成“环抱群山”的姿态。面朝道路则是一条直线，更好地引入游客。弧形体量为实体，作为主要的服务空间和辅助空间，屋顶平台作为室外咖啡厅，也提供了丰富的观景空间。直体量为虚体，作为游客中心的主要建筑，主要为两个高大开敞的公共空间。屋顶模仿山峦起伏上下交错，形成独特的结构形式和屋顶天窗，带来美妙的室内空间体验。主体建筑的结构形式独特，钢索与木材结合，既能承受结构强度，也让室内空间变得轻盈开阔。游客从大门进入即可感受到两侧的两个高大空间，在这两个大空间里，人们可以感受到屋顶漫射光的美妙和结构的秩序与韵律。二层是咖啡厅，人们在喝咖啡的同时可以与一层的游客有着视线上的沟通，也可以欣赏到室外的翠微山色，还可以选择来到屋顶平台，与大自然更加亲近。人们无论处在游客中心的任何地方，都能体会到木结构的妙处，同时与大自然与其他人都能毫无距离地亲切交流。
The site is located on the foot of Mountain Dagu in Dandong City Liaoning Province. This place is surrounded by mountains with pleasant scenery and is facing the 201 National Road with convenient transportation. The visitor center with wood structure backs on the valley and has great landscape visual around. It integrates with the surrounding natural scenery that becomes the highlights of the whole projects.Design comes from the site. In order to respond to the mountain, an arc are placed on the site facing the valley to form an attitude of "embracing mountains”. Facing the road a line is put that can attract tourists better. The arc is an entity with mainly service and auxiliary function which has a roof terrace use as a café to provide people a better place to close to the nature. The direct block which is the main building of the visitor center is incorporeal containing two tall public space. Its roof staggers up and down mimicking mountains that forms a unique structure and roof skylights which brings wonderful interior experience. Main building’s structure is unique. Combining with the cable, the wood structure can not only withstand the structure strength, but also make the indoor space becomes light and spacious.Visitors can feel two tall space on the two side when enter the center from the door. In these two tall space, people can feel the beauty of the diffuse light from the skylights as well as the order and rhythm of the structure. On the first floor is a café. People can communicate with others on the ground floor by sight. Besides this, people can enjoy the mountains outside and can also choose to come to the roof platform, more close to nature. Wherever people are at in the visitor center, they can appreciate the beauty of wood structure. At the same time, communicating with nature and other people friendly with no distance.
