Immigration New Zealand (INZ), Beijing Area Office is looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to join our dynamic team on a one-year fixed term contract basis. The role involves providing quality administrative support to Immigration Officers. Ideal candidates should be able to think on their feet, manage their time effectively and remain composed and focused under pressure.

About the role

Our successful Support Officers will have: 

  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Strong attention to detail and and a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to adhere to processes and procedures.

  • Resilience and commitment to perform a range of tasks with competing demands and minimum supervision.

  • Confidence working with individuals to identify their needs, and offer appropriate support and administrative assistance.

  • A strong customer service focus displayed through your passion to help a diverse range of people with an emphasis on team work and collaboration.

  • Excellent computer skills and able to pick up systems quickly.

     

You must be eligible to obtain a valid Chinese work visa; this means either being a New Zealand or Chinese citizen.


The remuneration starts from RMB 89,055 per annum depending on experience. Note: any relocation and/or accommodation costs will be at the successful candidate’s own expense.
