纽约公共图书馆（New York Public Library）建于1895年，至今已经有超过100年的历史，是美国最大的市立公共图书馆。
这里有超过5500万件藏品，包括1493年哥伦布宣布发现新大陆的信件、乔治华盛顿的告别演说原件等，是公认的、世界上最好的图书馆之一。
如果大家去纽约旅游，一定不要错过这处历史文化地标。而今天我想和大家分享的，正是这座权威图书馆，最新推出的“2018暑期必读书单”！
这份书单按照读者年龄分类，从新生儿到幼儿园，从学龄前到小学、初中、高中，以及成人……各年龄段都有好书推荐，一共多达87本。
我将这分书单看了好几遍，觉得非常有收藏意义——即使有些书不是立刻能买到，或者超出孩子年龄，但保留这份“成长型书单”，以后选书更有指导性。这份书单，还能看出美国社会对不同年龄段孩子的教育侧重，值得我们学习。
下面会按照“学龄前、小学、中学、成人”的顺序介绍这份书单。每个部分都有年龄/年级细分，非常实用
学龄前书单
Babies：0~18个月（10册）
纽约公共图书馆在给出这份书单时说，“让孩子爱上阅读，永远不嫌太早。”鼓励家长从孩子出生开始就给孩子读绘本。
有些书和作者我曾经给大家介绍过，例如《Moo, Baa, La LaLa! 》、Karen Katz，有的则是咱们推荐过的同类型的书，例如《Things that go》是触摸书、《Twinkle, twinkle, little baby》是洞洞书。
书单里还包括一册中文绘本，是教孩子认识数字的，可见探索数字从孩子一岁半以前就可以开始了哦！
