The flowchart describes the production process of coloured plastic paper clips that are manufactured in a small factory. The process is made up of four main stages: production, quality control for strength, sorting and, packaging and dispatch.

【这一段主要是paraphrase题目和整个图表，较难的地方在于最后那一句的总结：the four main stages。这就要求小伙伴们完全的读懂整个图表，才能写出这样的总结。这一部分不用强求，有能力就归纳总结，对于分数要求不高的同学，这部分也并非必须。】

The first stage begins the process with molten plastic being poured into three different coloured moulds: red, blue and yellow. The second stage is a quality control step whereby the paperclips are machine checked for strength and durability. Ones that do not meet the required standard are rejected.

【这一段落描述的是前文提到的production 和quality control for strength. 其中的句型完完全全是值得同学们学习的哦！例如The first stage begins the processwith…; the second stage is…等等。几句话就把上半张图描述的一清二楚，这个就是值得大家学习的地方哦！】

From there, the paper clips entera third stage which is a process of sorting the clips into two groups: mixed colours and single colours. This phase also includes anadditional quality control measure to check that the clips have been sorted colour appropriate. The final stage involves the packaging of the clips in order to be dispatched ready for trade.

【这段显然就是要说图中的最后两步啦——sorting + packaging and dispatch。这段中也有很多易学又好用的关联词句：from there, enter athird stage, this phase includes, the final stage involves… 】

Overall, the production of paper clips in a small factory involves a process that includes machine and manual labour, and two levels of quality control before being distributed.
