The company is the sole agent for Zhiying Education system in New Zealand. Zhiying is a special teaching method using pictorial images to teach Chinese and create Zhiying (direct impression) to the learner. This is most suitable for people learning Chinese as a second language. Learners can learn 1800 words in a year.
We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chinese Teacher with proven skills supporting a diverse range of students to be based in our school in Auckland.
Training will be provided to suitable applicants of Zhiying Education System.
The role requires a person with strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills and a commitment to culturally responsive and strength.
Applicant is required the following:
· A relevant Bachelor Qualification in Chinese (major in Chinese Language and Literature)
· 3 years + relevant work experience in teaching Chinese Mandarin, NZ experience is preferred but not necessary
· Fluent in Spoken and Written in Mandarin and English
· Be able to work with young children, as well as all other age groups
Following are preferred but not necessary:
•Knowledge and experience of Zhiying Education System
•Knowledge and experience in drama, dancing, singing and other public performances.
