为了进一步加强师生们的消防安全意识，提高消防警惕性，长春市实验中学国际部于2017年9月5日上午9:45举行了消防演练，国际部全体师生参与了此次消防演练。
首先，班主任给同学们普及了简单的消防知识和应急避难方法等，如弯腰，用湿毛巾捂住口鼻。在Chad校长摇动了警铃后，同学们迅速撤出了教学楼。全体师生在幸福大道集合并清点人数。总用时1分49秒。在如此短的时间内，国际部的全体师生团结合作，积极配合，使此次消防演习圆满完成。最后，校长Chad对本次演习进行了总结。本次演练增强了全体师生防火应急逃生的安全意识，使学生掌握遇到火灾事故时自救和逃生的基本方法，同时了解了火灾逃生知识。不为隐患留空隙，千里之堤毁于蚁穴。火灾防范要时刻小心，从小处做起，让我们加强防范意识，防患于未然。
In order to enhance the fire safety awareness of the teachers and students, Changchun Experimental High School International Division held the fire drill on September 5th, 2017. Firstly, all the headteachers taught the students some knowledge and methods about how to keep safe while the fire happens. When principal Chad turned on the alarm rings, students all run out of the building quickly. Students got out of the building successfully, which used only 1 minute and 49 seconds. Finally, principal Chad concluded this fire drill.
