Spring Mixer and New Member Welcome Party

4月21日周四晚，中国西南美国商会（以下简称西南美商会）在成都新东方千禧大酒店举办了春季酒会暨新会员欢迎晚宴。

On Thursday, April 21st, AmCham Southwest held its Spring Mixer and New Member Welcome Party at the Millennium Hotel in Chengdu.

借着这次宴会的契机，新加入西南美商会的会员公司代表不仅向在座的近100位来宾介绍了自己公司的情况，同时也与未到场的会员公司取得了联系。21家新会员公司都各自派出了一名代表做了一个3分钟的演讲，介绍了自己的基本情况，还收到了由西南美商会颁发的会员荣誉证书。随后，来宾们一边享用着由酒店提供的美味自助，一边进行着愉快的交谈。

At this dinner event, new member companies had the opportunity to introduce themselves to nearly 100 guests and connect with the rest of AmCham’s members. A representative from each of the 21 new members gave a 3-minute presentation about his or her company and then received a certificate commemorating their chamber membership. Afterwards, guests mingled and got to know each other over a buffet dinner provided by the Millennium Hotel.

在过去的一年里，这21家新会员公司相继加入西南美商会，它们来自各行各业：医疗、教育、制造和旅游行业。其中既有在成都发展历史悠久的企业，也有一些公司是这片地域刚注入的新鲜血液。这次晚宴对它们来说无疑是面向所有西南美商会会员的一个展示窗口，更是起到了密切商业合作、发现商业机会的纽带的作用，推动了会员公司在成都地区的共同发展。

Within the past year, 21 new companies joined the chamber from a variety of industries such as healthcare, education, manufacturing, and travel. Some of these businesses have opened within the past few years and some are longtime members of the Chengdu business community. Their presentations at this event created opportunities for all of AmCham’s members to strike up professional relationships and generate business. The introductions made at the Spring Mixer and New Member Welcome Party will help new members find friendly faces at future events, thereby strengthening the AmCham community.
