Our Food and Beverage department within the VIP area is currently looking for an experienced Team Leader to join the team so that SKYCITY can continue to offer our guests the best service possible.
To succeed in this role, you will have a blend of business nous and customer service expertise. You will be responsible for covering a broad range of responsibilities as a Team Leader and may also be presented with the opportunity to move across various outlets within the Casino and the Food and Beverage departments of SKYCITY.
We're looking for professional, customer focused applicants with proven Food and Beverage experience and sound supervisory skills, gained in reputable restaurant or Hotel settings. You will add significant value to the business through your expertise in managing a similar establishment, and possess a confident, enthusiastic attitude. The ability to speak Mandarin and/Cantonese is also highly advantageous.

Lecturer - Traditional Chinese medicine
•The position will work with the teaching staff to deliver teaching and learning for our Degree
•Preparing teaching and learning lessons as well as assisting in assessment preparation
•There is also a research role and you will provide guidance on the nature and standard of the College research, research planning, literature and information sources
•The success of our students is very important, so you will also be involved with academic and pastoral support so that maximum student learning and retention is achieved.
Your Profile
• Masters or PHD in Chinese Medicine discipline
• Relevant discipline based clinical practice experience (professional/industry/community)
• Demonstrated application of effective communication skills within learning situations related to
relevant subject area/s of discipline – for speakers of English language as a second language IELTS 7.0
• Prefer experience in teaching and assessment of students
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to a diverse range of people
• Capacity to engage in research relevant to discipline
Preference will be given to applications with experience in New Zealand

New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine is a Private Training Establishment, delivering degree, diploma and foundation programmes in Chinese Medicine. We are currently looking for a Lecturer in Chinese Medicine as part of our Bachelor of Health Science programme. Mandarin/Cantonese language skills would be advantageous but not essential.
