主持人：平时课堂上和生活中是怎么学习的？

Host : How do you study in class and in daily life?

答：在课堂上,其实上

就是认真听讲。在老师讲的时候多思考如果一旦遇到自己想不通的点马上提问。不把问题留到课后。

生活中：把书上的题有计划地多做几遍。每次做完后把错题反思错题原因。要把题做到看着题就能知道该解题步骤。其次就是预习无论什么课都需要预习这样就可以带着问题去听课并且也能知道这节课的重点。

A: On the class, actually I just listen to the teachers carefully. Think more when the teacher is speaking and ask questions immediately if you come across something you don't understand. Don't leave questions until after class.

In life: do the questions in the book several times in a planned way. Every time after finishing the wrong questions I will reconsider it. You have to do it so that you can look at it and see how it works. The second thing is that you need to preview any class so that you can go to the class with questions and know the key points of the class.

主持人：你是怎样合理运用时间去学习的？

Host : How do you make good use of time to study?

答：我一直坚信课堂的学习是重中之中。因为如果课上的时间都没有好好利用，你需要在课下花两至三倍的时间去补习。在课上如果你有任何问题你可以直接向老师提问或和同学讨论，但在课下你只能自己研究非常浪费时间。部分情况下在课堂上老师会强调重点知识，这些重点知识很可能就是考试的重点。所以说上课认真听讲就是考试取得高分的关键一步也是最不可替代的一步。不光是外教课堂，晚自习的中教特色课堂也给了我很多帮助，老师耐心的辅导，及时答疑解惑都是高分的关键。一个好的学习习惯可以让你事半功倍。例如在学习中我们经常会遇到非常难以理解的知识点，这个时候我会用自己的话去总结因为书上的解释通常很难理解，很难记住，所以自己的总结就非常重要。但学习习惯每个人都不一样，所以应该找到最适合自己的，而非生搬硬套他人的方法。

A: I always believed that learning well in class is the most importance. Because if you don't make good use of your time in class, you'll need to spend two to three times as much time tutoring in class. If you have any questions in class, you can ask the teacher directly or discuss with your classmates, but it is a waste of time that you can only study by yourself after class. In some cases, the teacher will emphasize the key knowledge in class, which is probably the key point of the exam. So listen carefully in class is the key step to get a high score in the exam is also the most irreplaceable step. Not only the foreign teachers’ class, but also the Chinese teachers’ class help me a lot. The teachers are very patient and solve the problems on time. It is also a key to get high score. A good study habit can get you twice the result with half the effort. For example, in learning, we often encounter knowledge points that are very difficult to understand. At this time, I will summarize them in my own words. Because the explanations in the books are often difficult to understand and remember, my own summary is very important. However, everyone has different learning habits, so we should find the most suitable method for ourselves instead of copying others.

主持人：你能不能和大家分享一下你的学习方法？

Host : Can you share your learning methods with us?

答：其实上我在之前就提到了我自己的学习方法，就像如何准备考试，听课和如何记住难以理解的知识点。还有最后一个学习习惯就是让自己对着课产生浓厚的兴趣，这些兴趣就可能变成你的求知欲把枯燥的学习变得有趣。

A: As a matter of fact, I mentioned my own learning methods before, such as how to prepare for exams, listen to lectures and memorize the difficult points. And the last learning habit is to have a strong interest in the class, and these interests may become your curiosity to make boring learning interesting.

主持人：你最喜欢哪门学科?

Host : Which subject do you like best?

答：我最喜欢生物。我从小就很喜欢生物，非常渴望去了解我们周围的世界和我们自己。这也就是我现在选择了生物化学这门专业的主要原因。很多人都觉得生物枯燥无聊，但我并不真么觉的就像我之前说的你的兴趣就可能变成你的求知欲。所以我从来不觉得生物无聊反而觉得非常有趣。

A: I like biology best .Since I was young, I have been fond of biology and eager to learn about the world around us and ourselves .This is the main reason why I choose biochemistry as my major now. A lot of people think that biology is boring, but I don't really think that like I said before your interest can become your curiosity. So I never find biology boring but I find it very interesting.

主持人：你们即将要出国留学，你的英语水平大家有目共睹，可不可以和学弟学妹分享一下学好英语的重要性？

Host :You will go abroad to study, your English is pretty good, can you tell us why study English well is very important ?

答：首先如果你英语不好在国际部课都会听不懂。其次就是雅思,说实话我自己的英语也不是太好，仅仅只是能听懂课，所以我自己也非常需要提升自己的语言水平。出国后语言就更加重要。因为出国后语言不仅仅是上课时所用的工具更是生活中的必要技能。

A: First of all, if you don't speak English well, you won't understand class in the international department. The second is IELTS, to tell the truth my own English is not good, I can understand the class, so I need to improve their language level. Language becomes more important after going abroad. Because after going abroad, language is not only a tool used in class, but also a necessary skill in life.

主持人：你报考了哪些学校？最想去哪个学校？

Host : Which school did you apply for? Which school do you want to go to?

答：我报考了麦吉尔大学，多大，UBC，阿尔伯塔大学和戴尔豪斯大学。我本人比较倾向麦吉尔大学和UBC。麦吉尔大学在法语省，我非常希望自己可以通过大学四年的时间掌握第三门语言。UBC大学中的B+MM项目是我非常喜欢的四年半的时间可以读一个本科加管理学硕士。我很喜欢这个项目因为它弥补了理科的缺点，并且非常符合我自己的职业规划。

A: I applied to University ofMcGill, University of Toronto, UBC, University of Alberta and University of Dalhousie. Personally, I prefer University of McGill and UBC. University of McGill is in the French province, and I really hope that I can master a third language in four years. The B+MM program in UBC is my favorite. I can study for a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in management in four and a half years. I like this project very much because it makes up for the shortcomings of science and is very consistent with my own career planning.

主持人：你们已经12年级了，明年就要升学了，有没有什么想对学弟学妹们说的？

Host : You are in grade 12 now, and you will be promoted to university next year. Is there anything you want to say to the grade 10 students?

答：我想说的就是雅思。如果说我三年中有什么遗憾，那就是没有在高一和高二把雅思搞定。不要以为到了高三再开始学雅思雅思就来得及。其实上到了高三无论是学业上还是升学上都有很多的压力。每天要写文书，递交材料，准备考试。从开学到现在我都处在失眠状态，压力很大。但如果把雅思在高一或高二搞定那高三就会轻松很多。

A: What I'm trying to say is IELTS. If I have any regrets in three years, it is that I did not get the IELTS done at G10 and G11. Don't think you have much time to learn IELTS. I can study for a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in management in four and a half years. I like this project very much because it makes up for the shortcomings of science and is very consistent with my own career planning.
