Job Description

A rare opportunity to join a Global 1 brand, the International Sales Manager (ISM) will be responsible for the development and day-to-day management of the LittleTrees distribution network within Asia. The ISM will be expected to gain a thorough knowledge of the distribution channels in these markets and pro-actively manage Little Trees products through local distributors to ensure complete coverage. The ISM will achieve success through maintaining close relationships with the distributors; developing sales plans; and having a complete understanding of each market’s competitors, key distributors, retail structure, regulatory and customs requirements, and the cultural and socio-economic factors that may affect the sales of our products. This positionis based at the Little Trees European office in Hungerford, Berkshire, and extensive travel to international markets in Asia and Europe will be required.

Person Specification

• A degree qualification or equivalent

• Around 2 years B2B sales & account management experience with some structured sales training, and the ability to self-motivate and plan your own time effectively

• Previous international distributor account management experience may be advantageous but not essential

• Numerate, with good attention to detail

• Computer literate, with the ability to write relevant and concise reports

• Essential that you can work and communicate within a small office-based team

• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan and document your work to show progression

• Able to travel (UK and International) when required (estimate 40-50 nights per year abroad, including extended spells of 7-14 days on occasion)

• Full UK driving licence essential

• Additional relevant language(s) would be advantageous, especially Mandarin or Cantonese
