The IB program is recognized globally by the education community as a highly academic-level curriculum system that covers 153 countries and regions around the world and is known as a passport to the world’s leading universities. Canadian International School of Hefei covers an area of 106,200 square meters and a building area of 105,100 square meters. It is divided into the main teaching section, teacher apartments, student apartments, kindergartens and sports fields. The school has 120 modern classrooms with computers and interactive whiteboards, various laboratories, professional outdoor sports fields, indoor stadiums, music and dance classrooms, auditoriums, lecture halls, gyms, theaters, indoor swimming pools, 3D golf courses, restaurants. Based upon the child’s age, apart from courses like Chinese, mathematics, language arts, sports, art, music, science, sociology, and information technology, the school also has a variety of extracurricular activities, such as choir, performance, and ballet.

In addition, physical education is also a feature of international schools. The library of the Canadian International School of Hefei has a very rich collection of books, including many Chinese and Western masterpieces, modern or classic, and multilingual practical books.
