What's good for Autumn? 

We are entering the autumn season, the weather is getting cooler and people are feeling refreshed. It is vital to pay attention to your diet and give your body the energy it needs throughout the autumn season.

The Canadian International School of Hefei’s cafeteria is working hard to provide delicious and nutritious food to help everyone to keep healthy throughout the autumn season.

秋季,暑夏的高温已降低,人们烦躁的情绪也随之平静,且秋风带来秋季宜人的景色。此时切勿因眼前的美景忽视了饮食健康。许多因素往往在不经意间影响着您的健康,且夏季过多的耗损也应在此时及时补充,所以秋季亦应特别重视健康饮食。在此,合肥加拿大国际学校餐厅专门为国际师生们准备了秋季营养美味的食物,助师生们健康度过这个秋天。


We need to pay more attention to having a healthy balanced diet because a healthy balanced diet not only helps you stay healthy but can also give you more energy.  Let’s see how our cafeteria can help you with the healthy balanced diet.

秋季饮食要特别注意搭配,因为合理的饮食搭配不仅能补充能量,还能使营养更加丰富。那么,秋季的日常饮食如何搭配才能使营养更加丰富呢?看看餐厅为大家怎么准备的。


Our bodies need enough water in your system. Other than drinking water we also need to take water from food every day. Staying hydrated has a lot of benefits including helping you digest your food and prevent constipation. Examples of the combination that provide us enough water are: Porridge or soups with steamed bun and cake for breakfast. This is also what the cafeteria is serving at CISH for breakfast.

除了饮水,人们每天还需从食物中摄取大量水分。干稀搭配吃,既有利于消化吸收、增加饱腹感,又能补充水分。例如:早晚饮食可以熬粥、稀饭搭配馒头、饼一起吃。所以餐厅在早晚餐上都准备了各式的汤粥羹类供师生们食用。

Food colors give us different nutrients. It is recommended to eat leafy green vegetables which account for 40% of your daily diet. In the meantime eating in a variety of color such as red, purple fruit and veggies. Our canteen provides you food with different colors, which not only looks colorful, but also provides different nutrients.

不同颜色食物的营养价值和健康作用也不太一样。建议每日饮食中绿叶蔬菜应占到40%,同时尽量考虑多种颜色搭配,多吃紫色、红色等果蔬。所以餐厅在菜品颜色搭配上也力求丰富,颜色多变,不仅在视觉上有良好的效果,更是希望在食品营养搭配上有好的效果。



According to research, reasonable matching of different kinds of grains and their processed products

will increase their nutritional value. We should not eattoo much highly processed food because some nutrients will decrease during thefood processing, especially dietary fiber, vitamin and inorganic salt, which arevery essential for the human body. 

科学研究表明,不同种类的粮食及其加工品的合理搭配,可以提高其生理价值。粮食在经过加工后,往往会损失一些营养素,特别是膳食纤维、维生素和无机盐,而这些营养素也正是人体所需要或容易缺乏的。所以多吃杂粮的好处是显而易见。

  Less spicy food, more sour fruit

少吃辛辣物,多吃酸性水果


During autumn, we suggest limiting yourself from eating spicy or irritant food, like onion, ginger, garlic, pepper and so on. And to eat more fruits, like apples, oranges, pomegranates and so on. So we should reduce spices during our food making process. And also, we provide more fresh and seasonal fruits.

秋季,我们的肺部往往比较偏旺,那么我们一定要少吃一些辛辣刺激性的食物。如:葱、姜、蒜、辣椒等物。多吃一些酸性的水果。如:苹果、橘子、石榴等。所以餐厅在秋季产品制作过程中,减少了香辛料投放。避免使用辣椒类产品。当然在水果上,我们也是购买适应季节性的优质新鲜水果。

Autumn can be a season of melancholy which people get depressed easily. We should go out more often to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and keep ourselves happy. Come to our cafeteria to enjoy healthy and tasty food. This fall, we are ready for you!

秋季是万物沉寂的季节,所以在这个季节中,我们走在大自然之中,看到万物开始沉寂,难免不会有悲秋的情怀。所以这时候我们很容易就会产生伤感,忧郁的感觉。而这个时候,我们就应该培养自己的乐观情绪,让自己开心起来,多出来走走,享受秋季给我们带来的凉爽,调节身心,来餐厅吃上我们为您精心准备的各式美食,营养,健康,美味。这个秋天幸福满满,因为餐厅与你同在。我们准备妥了。
